Workshops

Workshops are designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills in the implementation of behavioral treatment methodologies. Training generally includes overviews of the principles of behavioral intervention, consequences of behaviors, and explanation of treatment techniques.

Workshops are for providing staff with additional training and having specific questions relevant to your group answered by an expert. Below are some of the most common topics requested. A full list of our workshops can be downloaded here.

• How to Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (parents, teachers, staff, psychologists, teacher's aides who are tasked with assessing functions of behavior)
• Basic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Skills (ideal for staff, teachers, parents, siblings, and others who will be teaching children with autism)
• Teaching Others to Teach Children with Autism (ideal for those in charge of training others how to teach children with autism)
• Effective Training (ideal for those in charge of training others)
